 Behaviour and Discipline
The school’s Code of Conduct offers a framework within which staff can encourage pupils to maintain a standard of behaviour and presentation of which they, their families and their school can be proud and a standard which allows them to retain their self-respect.

Bullying in any form by any individual or group is totally unacceptable and it is the responsibility of everyone in the school community to ensure that all possible steps are taken to prevent the occurrence of such behaviour.

Smoking, the consumption of alcohol, the possession or the consumption of drugs and solvents are prohibited on school premises or while involved in school-related activities.

In implementing this Code of Conduct it is recognised that a high standard of behaviour requires a strong sense of community within the school and co-operation between staff, pupils and parents. Discipline procedures are therefore set firmly within the context of Pastoral Care.
